UPDATE: Crews extinguish brush fire northeast of Tyler | News
Jackson Heights fire crews responded to a brush fire around 1pm Sunday afternoon. The fire started as the result of homeowners burning a pile of brush that got out of control.
The fire happened near the intersection of FM 2908 and CR 384. It burned around 2.5 acres of the homeowners property.
Chapel Hill fire crews assisted in putting out this fire.
No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.
