The SPCA of Smith County has rescued the sweet boxer, Hilary, and have seen to it that she is receiving the medical care that she needs. Now they are looking for an adoptive family for the boxer. They say Hilary needs a lot of love and care. She is a 7-year-old boxer who was rescued from the Smith County Animal Barn. Hilary is heartworm positive and just had eye surgery. The SPCA of East Texas will be setting up a medical fund to help offset Hilary's expenses.

From Pets Fur People on Facebook:

This is Callie, a 12 year old female calico cat that needs a family. She will do best in a quiet household with no small children. She prefers adult companionship and is very affectionate when she chooses to be - just like cats tend to do.

Pets Fur People is a selective admission, life-sustaining animal sanctuary. Our mission is to provide a temporary haven for the animals in our care, until they find their forever families. We are committed to reduce and ultimately eliminate euthanasia as an acceptable method of population control for unwanted dogs and cats. We promote the positive results of spay/neuter programs to reduce dog and cat overpopulation, and pride ourselves in teaching responsible pet guardianship.
